A structured path to GPLB readiness

Switching for Business provides end-to-end support across six service pillars, taking a Communications Provider from working out what is in scope through to live operation. We already support whitelabelled solutions for major providers, alongside swivel-chair GUI and lightweight integrations for smaller businesses.

1. Regulatory and scope assessment

Gain clarity on in-scope services and obligations: in-scope service identification, obligation mapping to Ofcom's General Conditions, and gap analysis and risk assessment.

2. Architecture and integration strategy

Assess current systems and recommend the integration approach and payload transport: MAP model evaluation across standalone, hybrid and full API or Kafka integration, transport layer assessment covering TOTSCo and the Connected Services Framework, and system integration architecture design.

3. Switching orchestration design

State management, validation logic and lifecycle control: transaction lifecycle management, timer and state transition design, and eligibility and validation rules.

4. Operational readiness

Exception handling, logging and compliance assurance: exception and dispute handling processes, compliance logging and audit evidence, and operational runbooks and escalation paths.

5. Deployment and validation

Testing aligned to industry message standards: message format validation testing, end-to-end switching flow testing, and industry interoperability verification.

6. In-life operations

Ongoing monitoring of transactional patterns with continuous service improvement: CP pattern analysis, industry change adoption, and new feature delivery.
